| well, i i didn't come back a winner due to two pretty terrible decisions made playing 1/2 friday night. was great meeting the trapper and his lovely bride and having a couple drinks and chatting poker, politics, finance, and just life in general. then came back home sat. morning. (wasn't forkin' out $300 for a room on sat. night) went back on sun. and met up with JerseyRon and trap at the showboat, and played a lil daily. i think there were 50 ish runners. trap the nit (he he) was first out around the first break when he ran into miss donkette playin' 64s oop for a raise, and trap floppin' 2 pr w/ JKs i think. and she calls w/ no pr. no draw, and catches running hearts i think to bust him out. i lasted til a couple mins. b4 the second break when with 12 or 13 bigs, my kings ran smack dab into aces, and i was out in 26th i think ..Ron outlasted us both, but busted in 17th when his A6o didn't hold up against KJ when a K hit on the river. it really was alot of fun meetin' a couple of the fine folks that make up the tank gang. and hope we can do it again sometime. oh and much to his wife's chagrin, trap hit pretty good on a penny slot (while sitting right next to her) which is always cool. gotta love when that happens anyway, had fun u guys!! hope we can do it again!! see y'all in the tank when i can! | |

| So glad to hear it was a good time. I don't think it gets much better than meeting and spending some time with our Tanker family. Did you try out the $5 Lobster special at the Showboat? We'll be heading that way later this year so maybe we can hook up with you, Amber and Ron then. Ps; That bacon wrapped chicken was mouth watering goooodddddddd | |

| It was a great time on Sunday when I had the privilege to meet Sand and Mike. We were split up during the tourney which totaled 52 players. Sand had a tough table with the blonde who knocked him out. Mike's table was tough also. I had a fairly decent table which was a bunch of limpers (much to my style...lol ). There seemed to be a lot of locals and regulars in attendance. Overall we had a lot of fun, although we didn't finish in the money.
Hope we can do this again sometime.

| Just got back from a nice 4 day trip to Atlantic City Met Mike (mtnestegg) for a beer or two than headed to some 1-2 cash game. After 5 hours, I had a loss of $38. Lost with AK 3times out of 3 (friggin limpers) and a big pot to a set on the river. With the big storm in AC, the elevators were out so I played till 3 AM. Saturday was a day for the boardwalk and casinos. Had a pretty good day making close to $550. Sunday I met mike and Ron for a little $55 tournament. About the 9th hand, I get KJo and make a re-raise and this young lady (being polite here) calls. I flop top 2 pairs and make a half pot bet, she calls, on the turn I make another half pot bet and she calls again. On the river came a third heart and I hoped she wasn't calling hoping to catch a flush, so I raised a quarter of the pot and she calls again. She shows 8h5h, that !@#$% bit%#, nobody at the table could believe it. Another hand I flop a set, I make a half pot raise and the other player goes all in so I call. He shows Same set but with a low kicker and of course the board finishes with A and K for a split pot The last hand, I go all in with 99, she the Bit%^ calls with 88 and of course catches 8 on the river. The only good thing about this young lady, is that she had the biggest knockers and no they weren't disturbing to the game....LOL I really enjoyed meeting Mike and Ron, two great tankers and when I do go back to AC, I hope we can meet again. So after spending 3 nights at Harrah's for free, free flight, free bus service, free shuttle service, winning money at the slots and after paying for the meals and some gifts, I'm back home with a net of $553....woohoo | |

Sounds like a great time you all had. One of these days I will make it up that way I just wanted to point out one thing here while its still fresh . The next time you hear some one say I got beat by K5 off , 27 suited and so on . just remember we have to play them in the real poker games too . So we have to know how to handle them . People want to think that playing in the higher buy ins will chase them all away but it doesnt . online you may limit to a few but youd be surprised at how many join up in the higher buy ins in real live tournaments . glad to hear every one had fun good luck today
