| This was a HUGE success last Fall and enjoyed by all that participated. I know Tankers are generous and big hearted people. If the need for playchips ever arose to keep the tank running all Eff or Johnny would need to do is ask for donations and they would roll in. This is my and your way to make sure that never happens. I encourage all our family members to participate in the FUN challenge.
The following lays out the framework for the Challenge, there are a few changes from the original so please read
- Challenge will run from now till the end of the March - Play a block of 10 games of the players chosing, sng's or mtt's. - Buy ins must be the same for all 10 games (example; 3 single table, 5 multi table sng's and 2 mtt's as long as buy-ins are the same). Players may play any buy in level they are confortable at but the maximum stake the club will provide is 255K. - all profits donated to Tank1 acct. I will be the banker for the Challenge, Johnny will be a back up if we max me out - Please use this thread for ALL postings relating to this promotion. - Players must post all game #'s prior to playing (if possible) and edit same post with results. The reason for this is for our ease of tracking for awards to the winners and if some peeps are on they might want to rail the game. We know edits will don't show up as a new post so you will need to check this thread often. - Awards are 2 cd's compliments of Johnny. One to the player contributing the most chips and the other for the player with the best ROI. This way players at lower stakes are not at a disadvantage. - Feel free to play a challenge block as often as you like, ALL blocks will count in determining awards. - Since we know Tankers are the best players on the site and to maximize our return were accepting DONATIONS to bankroll some of our members that want to play higher stakes than normally played. Anyone wanting to remain anonymous or NOT wanting their donations to go toward staking please PM me. - The maximum stake players are allowed to request is 255K. Any player accepting a stake is required to send back any remaining stake and profits. Stake request should be made via PM to Me.
We will be making periodic post to update everyone. If I missed anything or there are any questions please do not hesitate to post. Have fun all and Good Luck

| I'd be happy to play a set or 2 next week (first week in March) when I get time. I'm working on a set of a hundred 2k 45's, so that will be the game i'll be playing. |

Thank you Jordan! ♥ Hope we have a ton of Tankers decide to take part and help get the Tank funds back up so we can have more flexibility in the types of challenges Johnny thinks up or bigger incentives to offer in tournaments overall. I find these are quite motivating for a couple of reasons... one to see how well I run personally after being "staked". Since Black Friday, I haven't been able to experience this much and always wonder if I would be a good "horse" or if I'd ever even be considered from the point of view of the individual providing the stake. The other motivator is to have a clean run to gauge my ROI%. Goodness knows as far as stats go long haul since I've first started playing not knowing what the heck I was doing for quite some time... well, the numbers aren't anything to write home about... well, not even after I got a gist of how to play the numbers are still pretty sick. Hope to turn this around of course. But these fundraising challenges give me a chance to practice and forces me to focus on the ROI% since it is one of the two ways to win this challenge overall. So... I guess I was hoping to ask our fellow Tankers to consider joining the challenge. If you're out there playing this month... it'd be cool if you would consider running a game per day... only looking for 10 in total. The return is far greater than chips IMO and the chips are donated to a worthy cause... keeping the Tank alive... Hope to see lots of us posting lots of results real soon! Good luck all!!!♥ Michelle

| if we play a 1 table sit n go, it fills up pretty fast I am not sure I can post the game before it actually starts. is that a problem or just post it asap? I am on a personal challenge to earn 500,000 chips in two months so if I keep to that br I can probably play 10,000 K buy in for ten games.
I am just not sure how to post the games here do you copy and paste from the lobby or just type in the information? |

| I'm going to play a set of ten 2k 45 player games. Game 1 - 697140610 totally card dead 55<99 out 14th Game 2 - 697142192 card dead here too A5<KK out 18th Game 3 - 697143309 went for win instead of hanging short stack for 3rd... out in 4th AJ<AK return 6660 Game 4 - 697206055 out 14th KQs run right into AA Game 5 - 697207219 OMFG first AA with A on flop < QJ then KK<A6.. out 19th Game 6 - 697748854 unbelievable. get it in with AA, called by K4o (station). K on turn 4 on river... out 11th, instead of top 3 stack Game 7 - 700185495 out 6th KQ<AT return 4162 Game 8 - 700187058 variance streak continues... KK beat by 44. chips in preflop. 4 on river so out in 10th (win i've got a top 4 stack) Game 9 - 706834328 out in 3rd, shoved A as shortest of 3 left. return 13320 Game 10 - 706835727 out 22nd QQ < K4 preflop return - 24142 cost - 20k ROI - 20.71% at least I pulled it out in the last game that was going to be positive!

I am just not sure how to post the games here do you copy and paste from the lobby or just type in the information? One easy way is that after the first hand is finished, bring up the hand history in the top left of your screen while at the table. You'll see in the heading for the hand the tourney # you're playing in. Just copy that and then paste it here in the forum. Run good! Dano and...lol John...ship that shizzle!

| thanks for the help, I played 1 only to see if what I did is acceptable, will play more once I know I am doing it correctly.
Just to take the pressure off me to have to make chips for the club, if for some reason I lose all ten games I will match what I lost and ship it to the club, so if I don't cash in all ten games I will ship the club 200,000 their buy ins back plus 100,000. |
