Not trying to start an arguement here, but someone needs to explain this to me.

The guy calls bet of 105 to see a flop, then hits a set and agressively continues to bet it. Sounds reasonable to me.
Not sure I understand what the problem is.

K2o should never be calling ANY raise early in a tourney. If you're down to a couple BB left, that's differently... but NEVER on a larger stack like this.

well JO, he calls a 3.5x raise pre w/ nothing but pos. on the raiser. hands don't get a whole lot worse than max spread and unsuited. that being said, this early in the tourney he's COULD be looking for a small card flop to bluff spike off any unpaired high card type hand if the flop comes low. and BINK he scores. probably the best possible flop imaginable. the rest as they say is history .....@ JW some folks play this way early to spec on what are usually pretty standard raising cards ie: big unpaired hands (for the most part) for only at this point is 7ish% investment. i really dont know if this guy thinks that deeply but it IS a possibility....or he's a donkey,fish who just likes his vodka... lol!

Early on, you just have to expect anything. Nit the eff up, and allow the fish to slap the donks, and the donks to eat the fish. There will be something left when they're done. Level 1...your risk, because anything goes. Wink

Doesn't matter the buy-in, evaluate your table before you ever get into a hand too deep w/o the nuts.
