Congrats Judy and Nobi, very well played.

The first period results for February are in, and one of the teams has bolted out of the gate into an early lead.  However, it is very early in the race, and the top 3 teams are bumping around for position.

I am absolutely thrilled by the attendance and team play; we had 18 players last night.  Been a long time since that happened.  The two person teams will make for a serious competition.  Listed below are the current teams in the Top 3 positions.


Blasting their way into first place with a strong combination of In the Points (ITP) wins by both GandalfDwite and Johnny Oak.  Congratulations to Gandalf who took down 2 first place wins and JO who got 1, (no wonder they are leading).

Allthough they both scored ITP finishes GmaJudy and Megg23 fell short to land into second place.  Now we got two girls doing this ...  
 
In this first period of the month, Team Joy7108 and Wetmoose 613 find themselves in third place, despite ITP, FT, and KO contributions from both members.  With Joy scoring an awesome first place win.

Other Game point contributions came from Effsea, Horsewoman72,Astro705, Tom905, PhoenixMaya, and Rhino4646.

Also coming in with first place win was BichonPup for the free agents.

how come the game was played at 11 ???
I had no idea it was early..?? fiqured our usual game at 9pm tonight ??

but maybe you have done this all along and just no one bothered to tell me..
but starting back to play I would have appreciated knowing ...so just wondering ??

Sorry All - I must have had a brain fart.  Not sure what happened but if you get this message go sign up for tonight's game.

For those who don't know, there was a game scheduled for early on Saturday. This was obviously a mistake. I have talked to Wetmoose who was the only live person at the game and we have decided to NOT count this game in the Team standings.

It will, however, be reflected in the club standings for PS as there is nothing I can do about that. I will try hard not to make these mistakes in the future, but I am old, and sometimes these things will happen.

When and If I do make changes in the schedule, I will post them here so members can be informed.

The third period results for February are in the books, and the Number One team is still holding a commanding lead and has been able to hold off the rest of the group.  However, it is only half way through the race, and the other teams could make it close.

OK the Fourth period results for February are complete, and the first place team is still acting like they are trying to win this thing.  It is more than half way through the race, so if the other teams are going to make a move, they should do it now.

If you are keeping track in the club lobby you may have noticed that PokerStars has (for some reason) stopped updating their club standings and results page. For that reason I have been collecting the results nightly in my own spreadsheet.  Listed below are the current teams in the Top 3 positions.


Holding on to their first place position with a strong combination of 5 In the Points (ITP) wins by both Johnny Oak and GandalfDwite.  No first place wins for these two, but a couple of high finishes kept them in.

Providing a strong challenge with ITP scores and FT finishes Joy107 and Wetmoose 613 still fell short to land into second place.   Awesome performance by Moose who was able to secure another first place win as well. 
 
In this fourth period of the month, Team GmaJudy and Megg23 once again find themselves in third place, despite ITP, FT, and KO contributions from both members.

Well it was a consistent run this month where the lead was held from the very beginning.  The other teams fought valiantly for awhile but in the end, it would be a The Wizard and The Tree who could not be caught and got the right to sing, "We just won the Drunk Tank, We just won the Drunk Tank."

Despite a worthy effort that included strong competition and coupled with ITP scores by GmaJudy and Megg23, this team has ended this season in third place.  So if you see a couple of young ladies drinking some rum and looking like almost winners you will understand why. They do, however, win the third place prize and our thanks for a job well done.

In second place for the season is Team Joy7108 and Wetmoose 613.  This adventurous team fought hard to the end with impressive showings from both members which included 3 ITP contributions and a first palace win that brought them up in the standings.  Still it was not enough to catch the full throttle push by the other team.  They will get the second place prize and honorable mention.

In the end it was an awesome steady and all around performance of the dynamic duo who rallied up from the depths and who both scored high throughout the season to take and hold the lead.  It was a strong performance by GandalDwite and Johnny Oak that saw contributions from both members and included 1 first place win by JO, that was good enough to take the Team into an exclusive lead on the final day of the season.  They will split the first place prize for each of the players.

Congratulations to all the participants in the Team Challenge. Well Done!

However, we have decided to take a break from the team play for this month.
Perhaps when the regular attendance gets back up we can start again.
