June 21st The Big $2.20

On a whim, I signed up for last night's Big $2.20. This was before I realized it had a TWO hour late registration.

Regardless, I tried to channel Trap and played pretty tight and with almost 4000 runners by the time registration closed, the top 495 made the money. I was on life support when we were 50 people from the bubble but managed to squeak into the money.

Not too long after that I got put all-in in the BB but got dealt a pair of 8s that held up for a nice little bump.

Long story short, I ran well after that and ended up finishing in 24th for a cash of just over $19.

I was chuffed.

If it hadnt been for my cowboys getting cracked by J9 suited (he boated), I may have even done better.

Over six hours but was cathartic. I felt like Dad was watching over me in that one.
