Tats has provided some info on the awards being given each month and I'll be putting the ideas in writing into ways to increase the clubs, and more importantly, EVERYONE'S, play chip bankroll in the next couple days.

I swear Dan... the last day I was able to get on my own computer I had this song playing! I started singing it in my head and then had to pull it up on YouTube... I listened to it over and over... I LOVE this song... and the chant "they're coming to take me away... ha ha, etc. ..." fits with how my mental state feels at the moment!

With that said, I will take this opportunity to tell The Boozers how sorry I am for not being able to play more last month and to tell Bonnie how excited I was and sad I was at the same time that I was on her team for October... sad because I don't think I will be able to play much if at all...

I hoped I would have been able to play more in September but it was very selfish of me to think this and not be more realistic and let JO know to feel comfortable with replacing me due to the "happenings" going on over here.

JO... it truly sucked knowing you were in California and that I had no way of coming to see you guys! I was really looking forward to this!

I miss everyone terribly and can't wait until things are back to normal (whatever that means, lol).

Please keep a seat warm for me though... I will be back for sure, I just don't when.

I can't wait to see what you came up with for the beer battered's and I think it is so wonderful of you to do that for us all since it is so difficult for you at this time. You are a real treasure.

Bonnie... have I told you how much I love you lately??? Cuz I really do... a whole heck of a lot! Thank you for this post... I love the Tank and love being a part of something so special here. I can't think of anything I want to do more than to come be here with you guys... EVER!

I am just soooo thankful my friend let me use his computer to put September's Trophy together... I promise I will always come through, so if I haven't posted the trophy by the 2nd of the month please know it will be there asap!!! I promise!!!

We started the turd bounty last night. JO took me out and received 5K. Have to give an honorable mention to easychips4u...that was funny and smart easy...missed it by thaaaaat much.

We are working through the details on the rest of the bounty stuff and should be posting about it this weekend.

All four teams have requested and received a roster change. The new players will be Jarhead, Buzzz904, GTAE92, and Howitzer2007 and they will be added to Teams Oktoberfest, Funny Farm, Boozers, and Honey's Mooners, respectively, and their accumulated points will be added to the receiving team's total score. These players will each replace a player that has either been inactive for over 5 days or has chosen to opt out for the month. Good luck to all the teams and look for a new update here after the 10th.

The first period results for October are in, and one of the teams has jumped into an early lead. However, it is very early in the contest, and there could still be some come from behind winners.

Once again the team play and performance is outstanding. We do have a lot of players who have opted out for this month, but we will try to get them back in the next few months. Until then we still have a very impressive crew with two first time captains leading the way.


Leaping into first place with an extremely strong combination of wins by Julestubby25, HoboJim11247, CatnDogLvr, Jordan 2652, and zzHoneyBeezz who combined to finish in all 5 tournies was team Honey's Mooners. Congratulations to HoboJim who posted a first place win as well.

Allthough there was an impressive collection of wins by several members of the team, including GTAE92, Dgg4, BobbyThe Fish, Megg23, 1Timmy2121, and Johnny Oak, Team Boozers fell just short to land into second place. There was help of a first place win in this group by 1Timmy2121.

In a battle for third place, the members of the Funny Farm had a good collection of wins by it's members including Buzzz904, EasyChips4U, Phoenix Maya, QueenBee9979, !!!111Dan, and Horsewoman72, with an additional first place win by !!!111Dan.

In this the first period of the month, Team Oktoberfest now find themselves in fouth place, despite point contributions by Jarhead8286, 68Flash68, Dale442, 11Scorpious11, and JWK24. Included was a first place win by Dale442.

When asked, Captain JDub said, "Have another beer and sausage, it's Oktoberfest."

Just a reminder that we are nearing the end of the month. Now would be a good time to let me know if you are thinking about sitting out for the next month. We have had several members opt out for the last few months and it made filling the teams a little bit more challenging. If you did sit out, maybe let me know if you want to come back.

I am thinking we might go back to a 3 team format at least until we can increase our active numbers.
