Drunk Tank Team Challenge

The third period results for April are here, and one of the teams has stretched their lead and is starting to smell a victory. However, it would not be impossible for another team to catch fire and come from behind to win.

We are getting some of the new players involved in the team play and thy are proving to be quite competitive. Thanks to all the players who show up, this is the best Play money league on the planet.


Extending their first place lead with an awesome combination of wins by every member of the team, including Mtnestegg, JWK24, GTAE92, TrumpinJoe, Moxie Pip, Oriholic, Nobiquit, and Johnny Oak who collectively finished with 2 first place wins and scored in all 5 tournies was team Boozers.

Climbing up the ladder and securing a second place showing, the members of the Rum Runners had a good collection of wins by Faery Tats, Chelle867 and new member Gatehouse999, and 3 placements by Jordan2652.

Allthough there was another impressive collection of wins by several members of the team, including Easychips4U, Sandtrap777, JerseyRon, Buzzonbi, Horsewoman72, and Sinman64, Team Sinners 'n Saints dropped to third place.

For this period, Buzzy's Drunks still find themselves in fouth place, despite point contributions by Effsea, Dale442, and Hozzer44820.

When asked, Captain Buzz said, "I can't figure it out, Are we drinking too much, or not enough?"

For the Record

Team Buzzy's Drunks has requested and received a roster change. The new player will be BrayleeGirl and her accumulated points will be added to team Buzzy Drunks total score. This player will replace a non-active player that has not played for seven days. As of today this team remains in fourth place but closer to the rest of the group. Good luck to all the teams and look for a new update here after the 20th.

The Fourth period results for April are complete, and all but one of the teams has changed their positions. So it looks like there is going to be some bumping and shoving as we come down to the wire, and it is still anybody's race.

We did set a new record for attendance last night, once again proving that this is the best Play money league on the planet.


Keeping their first place lead with an incredible display of wins by nearly every member of the team, including Mtnestegg, JWK24, GTAE92, Moxie Pip, Oriholic, Nobiquit, and Johnny Oak who collectively finished with 14 placed positions and scores in all 5 tournies was team Boozers.

Climbing up from the bottom of the barrel and securing a second place showing, the members of Buzzy's Drunks had a good collection of wins including back to back wins by Effsea, and contributions by Dale442, and Hozzer44820, Grade b, BrayleeGirl, Phoenix Maya, and Buzzliyear.

For this period, the Rum Runners find themselves in third place, despite point contributions by Tom905, Wetmoose 613, and Jordan2652.

Allthough there was an impressive collection of wins by several members of the team, including Easychips4U, Sandtrap777, JerseyRon, Buzzonbi, Mischiff, Horsewoman72, and Sinman64, Team Sinners 'n Saints dropped to fouth place by less that 1 point.

When asked, Captain Sinman said, "One point, we can make that up just by showing up for the games."

The Fifth period results for April are in, and one of the teams has extended it's lead. The battle now seems to be for the remaining three positions. It may be possible for the others to catch the leader, but it will take some serious scoring.

The attendance and fun we have in the Tank is the best it's ever been. With some new blood mixing with the old vets, it is awesome.

Maintaining a second place showing, the members of Buzzy's Drunks had a good collection of wins by Effsea, Dale442, Hozzer44820, Grade b, BrayleeGirl, Mcrissinger, and Buzzliyear.

Because there was an impressive collection of wins by several members of the team, including Sandtrap777, JerseyRon, !!!111Dan, and Sinman64, Team Sinners 'n Saints rose to third place.

For this period, the Rum Runners find themselves in fourth place, despite point contributions by Wetmoose 613, Morganhell's QueenBee9979, and Chelle867.

congrats to JWK on a very well played month!

This was our first month of having four teams. With more teams it meant that more players were involved. So it became one of the most competitive months we have ever had. We saw a lot of new players join the group and get picked up along the way to the top. Once again, Team spirit was awesome as each night the final table would get railed by team members cheering their mates on. In the end though it would be an Old team Captain, and some great performances by a few old vets who got to sing, "We just won the Drunk Tank, We just won the Drunk Tank."

Despite an early season jump into the lead and some last minute efforts which included scores by QueenBee9979, Faery Tats, Tom905, Morganhell's, and Chelle867, team Rum Runners has ended this season in last place. So if you see any of them running toward the door, tell them better luck next month.

Although there was a valiant effort by nearly every member of the team, which included contributions in the last period by Horsewoman72, Buzzonbi, !!!111Dan, JerseyRon, Sandtrap777, EasyChip4U, and Sinman64, the Sinners n Saints found themselves in third place for the season. They do, however, win the third place prize of 1600 play chips to distribute to the team members.

In second place for the season is team Buzzy's Drunks. Even though they started the season in last place, they rallied together and had an impressive 9 ITM showings in the last period including contributions by Effsea, Mcrissinger, Phoenix Maya, BrayleeGirl, Hozzer44820, and Grade b, still it was not enough to catch up to the Boozer lead. They will get the second place prize of 4000 chips to give to their members.

In the end it was the steady performance of the players coupled with the calm leadership of Captain Johnny that caused a win for the Boozers. It was a strong contingent of players that combined for the top 3 spots in the league. Continued strong showings by all members including Nobisquit, Oriholic, Moxie Pip, TrumpinJoe, GTAE92, JWK24 Mtnestegg, and Johnny Oak, that was good enough to push Team Boozers into a decisive lead on the final day of the season. The Boozers will split the first place prize of 8000 chips amonst it's players.

First of I wood like to thank all my team for battling all month and showing great team spirit especially effsea hozzer and dale who all got great points I wish I cud of been a better captain. but it was a honor having you all on my team no one let me down now I wood like to say congrats and well played to the boosers on a great win. and a well deserved first place to you’re team member jwk who played great poker all month well done john. And well played to sinners and saints and the rum runners thank you once again Johnny and tats for all you’re hard work and a great month of fun. the rest of the home clubs must be green with envy.
